• Hello All, I’ve recently installed wordpress and added a theme to it from “Themes Lab” called “Slick Red”. While I was loving wordpress and enjoying its features, when it came to add the banner, I’m badly stuck. Thus, I’ve not yet publically opened my site yet. Now about the problem :
I’m trying to add my own banner the above named custom theme, However whenever I try to add banner, the complete looks of header are spoiled.

    – I’m trying to figure out how to move the complete navbar a little more below so that my banner can be easily accommodated.
    – How to change the black color of existing header to white? (Because my banner is also white)

This is how header looks currently:

This is how it looks after adding my own banner (Complete spoiled!)

PS: I don’t have much PHP and CSS knowledge but with little guidance I can do and actually, I’m ready to do anything now because its been a week am unable to find any solution. Thanks a LOT in advance. Much appreciate any help.

Hey,Thanks for response. I have done that. Replaced existing image with my own logo but thing is that since my logo is in white color and much bigger, once i upload it. The complete header looks get spoiled Like you can see here: https://img443.imageshack.us/img443/7292/nogood.png

    So my question is -:

    – How To Make complete Navbar move a little below so that my big logo can be accomodated.
    – How to make the header background White which is currently black.

Thanks a lot once again, would appreciate some quick help.

sorry for the delayed reply ..

u can do that by editing your current themes css…

first make a logo of small size for now just in resolution of the default logo and when u finish this and every thing is good

go to css and modify the css and the header.php file to suit u r needs
