    Hello,

I’ve noticed that when I try to import a file, either XLS/X or CSV, that contains non-Latin characters(in my case I use Greek letters) then the import fails to work properly. The import section recognizes all the rows and reports correctly on the number of records that are present in the file.
Specifically, what I’ve noticed is this:

    • If I import a file that only has Latin characters, then it works perfectly
    • If I try to import a file that has only entries with Greek letters, then it will only import the first row.
    • If I mix Latin and Greek characters then the import gets all screwed up. In some cases it’ll import everything after the first Greek entry. In other cases it’ll import everything but the Greek entry. I can’t really find a patern.

    Hi neighbor ??

I have opted as well to take the database import route, I just want to see if there is something that can been done in order to make use of the backend tool since it’s an easy way for other users to import data without having to go through the database.

    Hi again
    I’m 100 % percent agree with you.
Because i’ll give permission to human resources and they will update the person list via excel file. I just save the day with this solution ??

I hope developer can solve our problem permanently.
    See u.
