Problem importing from Blogger to WordPress.

Hi,

I am hosted on byethost and am trying to import an existing blog from Blogger to WordPress. After going through Tools > Import and following the onscreen instructions, I am presented with the following message when I click on the ‘Grant access’ button:

“Could not connect to https://www.google.com

There was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:

Connection timed out (110)”

I have checked on my Google account and eldarbee.byethost31.com has been granted access.

If anyone can let me know why I’m getting this message and what I can do to rectify it, I’d be very grateful – I’m just starting out using WordPress and am probably missing something very obvious to those with more experience!

(For additional information, although I am also enquiring with Blogger, when I try to export my blog from Blogger I keep getting a page load error stating “Firefox can’t find the file at https://www.blogger.com/feeds/7380204851018183453/archive.”)
