Problem importing blogger into wp

I’m trying to import my blogger account into wp and have earlier exported the xml file from blogger. When I go into Tools –> Import in wp and tried to authorize blogger, I get an error message saying that the request is invalid. Can anyone advise on how I could proceed? Thanks.
