Problem image size in blog posts

Hi,
I managed to do the site exactly like the Demo except for the posts pages. My problem is that, when I add a new post and insert an image (from the default image block) it is not displayed large as in the Demo, it is displayed always in a smaller size no matter my attempts to change the size manually!
What do I have to do in order to insert an image in a blog post in a larger size (just like in the Demo)?
Is there any specific plugin for inserting images used in the blog section of the Demo version?Thanks!

ok I could manage to enlarge the image but when I try to insert a vertical image its WIDTH is not the same as the other horizontal images present in the same post,
what could it be?To have an idea of what I mean, this link: https://demo.ilovewp.com/photozoom/2018/06/22/classy-sicilian-wedding-in-black-and-white/
is what I would like to reach. Can you see that the second horizontal image is the same width as the third vertical image? This is what I want to achieve.
