  • There seems to be a problem with the Openweathermap feed – maybe they have changed something. I had the same problem just now.

I noticed the feed worked on wp-cloudy site but not int the showcased examples…
So I went to openweathermap.org and created a free account. There you get a personal API code. Just put it in the general settings in the ‘Advanced’ tab. It worked for me.

    Hope this helps.

    I changed nothing.
Before I had the cities without the need for a key API Open Weather Map. Is it required now?

    I don’t know !
Maybe the author has an answer.
I’m just a user like you, sharing my experience ??
It was working for me too, before just now.
And so this is the solution I found to make it work.

    Hi all!
Yes by default Open Weather Map API need a key.
In the plugin, we integrate our own API key, but since few weeks, OWM changed their prices, they have reduced the limits of daily queries to the API.
Currently, +6 000 active installs run queries on the API, which is huge.
I received an email from OWM about that.
The solution is to register on their site to have your own API key and enter it on WP Cloudy global settings page (advanced tab).
    Here is the guide:
