problem finding any words!

    Hi,

    Were you trying to search the entire WordPress directory, or a specific plugin?

    It could be something as simple as the search timing out because there’s too many files compared to how long your host will let a script run, which isn’t uncommon when searching everything, but searching an individual theme or plugin (like twentyfifteen for example) should work.

    You are right, the plugin find the specific word in specific theme.

    Hi,

    Just thought I would follow up on this thread quickly and mention that 1.8 was just released which has a rewritten search procedure.
    It now uses AJAX calls to perform the search and as such you should not be experiencing these timeouts when performing large searches on shared hosts or low-execution time setups. (and it also has a spiffy progress-bar to show the search progress!)
