Problem: Email Opt-in Pop-up Does Not Work

And per @wpmudev-support9’s suggestion, the mailing list has quite a few subscribers already.

I could not solve the error.
The proposed solution (look for conflicts with other plugins) was not successful, since this error is not a conflict between functions.

In my case, I realized the integration with another plugin, that did not present problems.

So far, what I found is that when the form was submitted, it returns:
{“success”:false,”data”:”Invalid email address”}

And the code on page (where it raised error) expects data to be array, it turns out to be simple string of “Invalid email address”, so, there goes the error we found. But strangely, the email I tested seems valid though.

Hi There,

I have the same problem.
When someone is trying to sign up they get an invalid email address notice.

We ‘ve got all the way down on our website https://www.woodyworldpacker.com 2 sign up forms. One is from Mailchimp ( works perfect ) the other one in the footer is from hustle and doesn’t work. Also the automatic pop up when you intent to leave the page is the same: invalid email address.

How to fix this?
