• Oddly enough it looks fine in Edit (visual) mode but it will not load if I try to use “View” mode. Other pages load fine so I do not believe it to be a browser or OS problem but more likely, a step that I’ve forgotten. I just can’t understand why it displays in “Edit” (visual) but will not allow “View”. No error message it just keeps loading f o r e v e r!

  • Does the problematic page contain any code within your content?
Have you tried disabling all of your plugins?

I’ve not intentionally used any plugins. Is there a way to verify that?

As far as code this is a copy and paste of the text:

    <span style=”font-size: medium;”>Fine Woodworking</span>

    [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”54″ gal_title=”Ray Bayless”]

You can view your plugins under the Plugins menu from the Dashboard.

Try disabling all plugins, and use the default TwentySixteen theme to try narrow down the search for the issue.

I notice within that code you’re using both and ", try just using just " to make sure that isn’t causing the issue.

Thanks so much for your time and effort. I checked the list of plug ins and NONE were checked. I installed and switched to Twenty Sixteen theme as you suggested and now the name comes up but not the two words or the gallery. I also checked the quotes and that must somehow be a product of my copy and paste because they are all straight quotes in the edit mode. Any other suggestions?
