I’m logged into Facebook and WordPress.com, but get a “There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again” when I try to connect Publicize to Facebook at the following URL [removed by moderator]

This is for https://2017.raleigh.wordcamp.org which I think is hosted by wp.com.

The next day this seemed to resolve itself.

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that the error wouldn’t show up any more and a different message saying the connection was disabled while the problem was fixed.

Earlier this morning I was able to successfully connect so it is resolved for me as well.

I’m glad to hear you’re both all set! I’m not quite sure why things didn’t work for you for a little bit, so if the problem comes up again please let me know!

@hallsofmontezuma Since you posted a link including private tokens here, I would strongly recommend that you go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard and disconnect then reconnect the site to your WordPress.com account.

This is for https://2017.raleigh.wordcamp.org which I think is hosted by wp.com.

WordCamp.org is a separate multisite installation managed by WordCamp Central, so it’s a bit different from WordPress.com. You can learn more about this installation here:

    Thanks for the reply.
I’ve disconnected/reconnected the site to my account.
