Hi, I’m using Scrobbler 2.2.7 since a few weeks back, and and I’ve run into some problems regarding configuration. I haven’t found any particular configurationpage for the plugin, so I’ve tried to edit the ScrobblerConfig.php to make it fit in more in with the design on my site, but can’t get it to accept the changes I make.

The site is https://www.growingsilent.com , and I want to change a few things about how it presents itself, particularly the name (i want my own headline, in bold). Also, I’d like the time format to be changed to:

    Foo Fighers – Wind Up
    played on: (15 minutes ago)”

or something like that. Is there a simple way of doing this? I know php have a few defined time formats, but i haven’t found one outputting “song played X minutes ago”.

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That would be cool, I just don’t know much about Scrobbler yet. Is that just straight off scrobbler’s site, or it’s a WP plugin for it (what link)?

I found it in the plugin index here at WP, but I downloaded the plugin from https://leflo.de/projects/scrobbler . I followed the instructions there, but still no luck.

“Activate the plugin in your WordPress plugin control panel and edit the options to your needs

This is what I interested in, I haven’t found a way to edit the options with any successful outcome.

I don’t know the answer cuz I’m new to this plugin (I would’ve thought it would be WP Admin > Options > Scrobbler), but you might find an answer if you read through his Comments. There are actually 5 pages of comment links & it appears the plugin author is responding, down at the bottom of the page on https://leflo.de/projects/scrobbler

Hey thanks Dgold, but actually, I found the Scrobbler configpage in the plugins-menu just right after I wrote my last post. It’s the first plugin i’ve used, so I didn’t know they all have their own configpage inside the WP config interface. Now I know better. Thanks anyways!
