problem between image quality and format

    Hi,

    In “manage gallery” and in “Gallery size option” under “thumbs option” there is a “Thumbnail quality” setting.

    When I set to “Full” my images have their original format (not cropped). But if I put “Large” or “medium” then all the images in the gallery are cropped in square format.

    Shouldn’t this parameter only affect the quality of preview and not the format aspect ratio?

    I would just like to point out that I have the latest version (Version 2.8.29) and that the “Custon ratio” parameter is OFF

    Is it possible to get some link to the page with this gallery where you have cropped images ?

    Really strange, this options shouldn’t impact to the crop images function.

    Maybe you have some additional plugin installed on your page which could modify images of the gallery? For example some extended media manager or image resizer which do this crop of the images in gallery.
