• I have a version of WordPress 4.1.1 installing. The automatic upgrading system don’t work. And there isn’t the 4.2.1 version in upgrade area.

    Same problem with 4.1.2 version.

I don’t want to upgrade manually.

    How I can do?

    Thank you.

  • I have the same problem. I just upgraded just now, and the upgrade area is no longer available neither is the dashboard. I cannot do new posts neither. I think I will need to go and do a manual upgrade again, just not sure if I should risk doing that.

I too will be appreciative of any advice.

    Thanks

    good luck

and take the final step with a real gusto. its not for the faint of skill

@grafixsuz you can regain access to the dashboard killing the .maintance file in the root

@webinserzionista i misread thinking you were going to manually upgrade.

What portion of the update is failing?

@djembe85, Thanks I will give it a try. I already cleared the cookies before I wrote here just in case something was not displaying correctly because of them. Thanks for the quick replies. I’ll be back…

@djembe85, Any chance that the .maintance file would be called something else? I cannot seem to find it anywhere.

    Thanks
