Hi, when I install the plug-in and go to authorise the twitter account I get the following response:

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/kebopowe/public_html/auth/callback.php on line 74
Invalid auth response: Missing key auth response components.

    Any ideas?

    Hi gorgonpaterson,

Sorry you have had problems setting up our plugin.

Does this error message still appear? The only time I am aware that this error message should be displayed is when you click on ‘Cancel’ when on the screen to give our Twitter App permission to access your account.

The error is caused by there being no data about your account forwarded from Twitter with you.

Please check that you are correctly giving permission and if this is still happening let me know and I will continue looking into the matter.

Thanks for the prompt reply. The error occurs when I click on the authorise button.

Funnily enough, I have just tried it again and this time I get:

Invalid auth response: Missing key auth response components.

    Hi gordonpaterson,

Okay, so there is a deeper problem. Thank you for trying again and responding so fast.

Do you know of anything that is unusual about your Twitter account? It still suggests that Twitter is (for some reason) not responding with the expected data. Would you mind letting me know which account it is? It may help me to identify the problem.

    Hi Peter

The twitter account should be quite normal. I checked the apps settings and the Kebo – Public Feed is on the list.

    The account is michaelmccannmp.

I am trying to set it up from work, and so will be behind a firewall etc.

    Gordon.

    Hi gordonpaterson,

You are right, there does not seem to be anything unusual about the account. The fact that our app is listed is very useful, so it looks like you may be onto something with the firewall.

I will run some tests to see if I can find a way to replicate this behavior and I am also going to look at improving the error reporting, as I need to find out how widespread this issue is.

Thank you very much for letting us know about the problem you are having, I will be back to you once I have more information.

Thanks, Peter, I will give it a try from home tonight to see if that helps.

    Hi Gordon,

I am still having problems reproducing the problem and my extra error tracking gets none of the expected data at all.

It would be very interesting to hear if it works for you from home and I will continue looking into it in the meantime.

    Hi Peter

I got it working from home! Must have been an issue with our work network.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Gordon,

I am pleased it works from home, I will continue looking into this to see if there is anything I can do from my end to either resolve the problem or at least let the user know what the problem is.

Thank you very much for letting me know and for your help debugging the issue. I really appreciate it.
