I did read the recommendations on how to change colors and unfortunately we didn’t do that at the time. We basically made changes to tabby.css and just used it that way.

None the less I was hoping reverting back to a backup should fix everything but for some reason it has not.

Another issue is that the tabs seems to work on mobile right now but not on desktop…

The odd thing is it works in IE, Android, iOs but not Firefox and Chrome.

I’m afraid that helping to get an edited version of the plugin working is outside the scope of the free support I am able to provide.

If you restore you edited version from the backup correctly, I can’t think of any good reason for it to not work, so my only suggestion is to delete the tabby responsive tabs plugin directory and reinstall the version in your backup again.

If that does not work, I think the best option would be to remove the customised version, install the current latest version and make your customisation using the method outlined in the documentation – ie by adding the function to unhook the plugin stylesheet, add the styles to your child theme and make the customisations there.

Is there a way we could test the add on for 2 days to see how it’ll look and the load times on the page we use it?

I’m afraid there is no trial version of the add-on. My own tests indicate that it does not add a lot of overhead to the load time, but If you are concerned about this, the customiser plugin can be used as a custimisation development tool. It outputs a listing of the current tab styles in the admin page which can be copied into the child theme & used with the customiser deactivated to replace the default styles using the same method as covered in the tabby responsive tabs documentation.
