The plugin was working perfectly fine before updating. However, after updating to the latest version, the feed database will not be automatically updated unless I manually click the “Click to Update The Feed Database” button.

Is there any way I can revert the plugin to its previous version?

UPDATE: The plugin seems to be working fine again. I will update the question again if there is any issue occurred. Once again, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE 2: The problem recurred. Not only does the database not update previously before updating, it creates duplicates articles which had already been posted.

Worse still, the featured image function doesn’t work anymore with new updates. Duplicate articles keep coming in. All these didn’t happen in previous version.

    Correction:

UPDATE 2: The problem recurred. Not only does the database not update previously before the plugin was updated, it creates duplicates articles which had already been posted.

The problem of duplicate articles still occurs occasionally.

I also have the problem that the feed database no longer gets updated unless i manually click the “Click to Update The Feed Database” button.

@berner – what does the diagnostic page say about the cron – does it say it have a cron schedule?

@allen – Yes, everything seems ok there. I get the following message:
The database is successfully scheduled for this time period: thirty minutes.
The AutoPost is successfully scheduled for this time period: two hours.

Everything was working perfect until this morning when i updated. I’m using another plugin for post scheduling along with RSS Multi Importer and its called Auto Post Scheduler v1.2. The reason for this is that i use your plugin to get posts from RSS feed (they are set to be pending) and rewrite some of the titles before i set them as drafts and let Auto Post Scheduler v1.2 take care of the scheduling of draft posts. I don’t know if there could be a conflict there (it wasn’t before)? However, when i do everything manually it works… (Global Settings->CLICK TO UPDATE THE FEED DATABASE NOW and then AutoPost->CLICK TO FETCH FEED ITEMS NOW).

Thank you for taking time to help out!

first of all, when you say you updated the plugin, was this from the earlier version of 2.867 to 3.10 or from 3.01 to 3.10?

Given what you told me, it seems your Auto Post Scheduler is conflicting with my plugin – but only for the cron scheduler – since you can manually fetch everything. So the problem isn’t with being able to fetch the feeds, etc, it’s due to the cron scheduler.

The only way to know what is going is to go the diagnostics page and see, without manually fetching the items, if the database is getting updated

    https://www.screencast.com/t/uc8juWBGto1

That should get updated every 30 minutes, according to your schedule. If it is not, then there is likely a scheduling conflict with the other plugin.

It was from 3.01 to 3.10. I just updated manually, but I will look into it and get back to you. The thing that confuses me is that everything worked perfectly before.

I’ve uploaded two images here: https://imgur.com/hAqf30e,PQT6z6L#0 (click First Image & Second Image to compare).

At “Global Settings” I’ve selected that feeds should be updated hourly, but when i go to Diagnostics it says that: The database is successfully scheduled for this time period: thirty minutes. And, as you can see, you where right about your assumption that it doesn’t update the database according to the Cron schedule.

I can try to disable Auto Post Scheduler v1.2 let you know, but then i really need a similar plugin that doesn’t conflict with yours. However, as i mentioned, everything worked perfectly until this morning. Any ideas on what’s new that’s causing the conflict?

    Thanks!

Make sure you are using version 3.11 of the plugin.

YES! Thank you so much Allen! I didn’t see that you had released an update. Everything works great again and i am very grateful for your help.
