Problem After Updating

  • Hello there, I’m not too great with the technical side of wordpress, and i’ve just come across a problem when i updated it.

    The update was fine apart from, when i go to write a page or post, the icons/buttons such as “make text bold,” “make italic” etc, don’t show up. Does anyone know why this might have happend? Thanks very much

  • Try going to your Admin => Users => My Profile and make sure the following is checked:

    Use the visual editor when writing

    Thanks for your help. Yeah that is checked ??

    Might be time to try and reupload the WordPress files. Logout, clear your cache and cookies, reupload the WordPress files.

    yeah i was thinking that will probably solve it :). I just thought someone might have a quick answer. thanks anyway everyone!
