• I have migrated from WordPress.com to my custom VPS. I have properly setup DNS but still when I want to launch shootertutorial.com (this is my domain) it says
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

    Anyone can help me out?

I’m using Vultr as my VPS.

That would mean that your domain is still directing to WordPress.com, at least for you it is.

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, and you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”

If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache.

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://support.opendns.com/entries/26336865-Clearing-the-DNS-Cache-on-Computers-Servers-and-Web-Browsers

    Thanks! I have used:

    whois shootertutorial.com | grep -i “name server”
    Name Server: ns1.vultr.com
    Name Server: ns2.vultr.com
    dig -t a shootertutorial.com +short
    45.63.66.35

So it’s pointing right way, but still I got the message.

Will wait 72h then ?? Thanks!

Try flushing your DNS cache now following the guide above. ??
