Problem after installation and permissions

  • Dear Sirs,

    I have the following problem. After upgrades to 3.0 (using the automatic option), I’m having troubles with the permissions. Can someone share with me what should be the permissions for the specific directories in order to be secure? Because that’s my main concern after changing some permissions to make wordpress work normally.

    The second and most annoying issue is the following: While with Safari browser everything looks fine, but does not work fine… When I try to edit articles I can’t edit drafts… Firefox and Chrome show the website like this:

    I think that something might me wrong with the permissions. The weird thing is this… issue happened suddenly. I don’t know if my provider did any reboot/upgrade on the machine (linux) which caused issues…

  • normal permissions
    folders 0755
    files 0644

    it looks like all of the admin folder files didn’t make the upgrade if the permissions are correct

    manually upload the /wp-admin folder to see if that fixes it
