Problem adding relative links in comments – turns into dots and slashes

Our site is example.com and in the comments, we’re trying to add a link to a different post on the same site: https://example.com/another-post but the link comes up: <a href="../../../../../another-post"> this is getting treated as a traversal because of all the dots and slashes and thus the comment is seen as dangerous and doesn’t submit when you click submit, but rather gets blocked by FireHost.
