    Looks like there’s another plugin (or your theme) that is also using the output buffer, which means AO doesn’t get the full page (HTML). The HTML that AO does receive, seems to not have the closing body and html tags and hence AO complains about that.

    Now what is specific here is that this happens when the optimized JS is injected, so the warning is added and the </body> in that warning is then mistakingly used to inject the deferred CSS …

    But how to fix this … some possibilities;
    * find the plugin that “breaks” the output buffer and disable that
    * switch AO to force JS in head
    * change AO’s warning message so it can’t be mistaken for a real tag, cfr. this small code change. if you want you can download the beta-version of what will be AO 2.1 very soon, which includes this fix.
