The shortlink is translating correctly to the pretty permalink, so your .htaccess should be fine. That said, it’s easy to goober that.

What’s the content of your .htaccess?

(Also does anyone know if IP address blogs work with MU? I had this vague memory they don’t, but that may just be for subdomains…)

I have an inkling that they don’t either…

Hi ; now i have another problem; im using wpmu 1.3.3 installed on an centos apache server; i have change te dns ; because i have to migrate some systems to another servers but wp stiil in the same server; so now i cannot acces to wordpress because with the ip it doesnt work; i created a subdomain that goes to the old server where i have wpmu installed ; i think i need to do a replace in the database (change home and siteurl to the new subdomain) but they still dont workin :
    what should i do ??

    thanks

Yes, you need to replace more in the database, in more tables to the new domain name. Do a search on the ENTIRE db.

And make plans to upgrade ASAP.
