Probleem met checkout op apple mobiel

    Een klant van ons heeft een probleem in zijn webshop. Mensen die op een apple mobiel proberen te bestellen krijgen zodra ze willen betalen de volgende foutmelding: ‘Facturering Straat en huisnummer is een vereist veld.’ Dit terwijl alle velden zijn ingevuld. Dit is overigens alleen op een apple mobiel. Op een apple laptop en alle andere apparaten gaat het wel goed. Kunnen jullie ons helpen?

    Wij zien momenteel exact hetzelfde probleem, alleen doet het zich wel degelijk ook voor in Safari op een Mac!

    Eén klant had het probleem op zowel mobiel als laptop, telkens via Safari. Van zodra ze Firefox gebruikten ging het wel!

    Andere klant enkel op Safari op mac, opnieuw andere browser en het ging wel.

    Ik wacht nog op een contact terug met de klant om de versies van Mac en Safari te krijgen maar het lijkt daar iets mee te maken te hebben toch.

    Bij het uitzetten van de optie om de checkout velden aan te passen (op te splitsen met straat en nummer enzo) werkt het wel terug voor hen. Dus tijdelijk is dat wel een workaround @keeslamper !

    Met Safari 16.3 (18614.4.6.1.6) is er geen probleem
    Eén van de klanten laat weten op een oudere versie te zitten, nl. 15.2 (17612.3.6.1.6), daarbij doet het probleem zich wel voor!

    Our client is also running into this issue and receives notices from customers regularly, which are unable to place their order due to this issue.

    I was able to reproduce it in Safari on an older iPhone with iOS 15.7, no issues in Safari 16.4 on Mac.

    I could not discover the cause of the issue, but guessing it is related to a script and hope this will be resolved soon.

    We are working on the solution. It is expected that a new version will be released today, that will solve this problem.

    The solution has been found and a new version of the MyParcel WooCommerce plugin has been released.

    With this version we expect the problem to be solved.

    @richardperdaan why should I enable the checkout address field optimisation again? I’ve turned it off to bypass the issue and my shipping labels are perfectly generated (PostNL)…?

    Hi @dirkvranckaert,
    It is not necessary to re-enable the checkout address field optimisation. In my previous post, I just told you that the problem has been solved.

    You are completely free to use the MyParcel plugin in your own way.

    Thank you for the update, @richardperdaan. However, the update(s) unfortunately don’t resolve the issue.

    The changes in https://github.com/myparcelnl/woocommerce/pull/971/files (which I’m guessing you expected to resolve the issue) are in the wcmp-frontend.js file, but this file is not even loaded with the ‘Enable MyParcel delivery options’ setting turned off (as is the case on our client site). Thus, these changes don’t make any difference and we’re still seeing the validation message ‘Facturering Straat en huisnummer is een vereist veld.’ while the separate MyParcel address fields are filled out correctly.
