probably very simple: navigation bar (sometimes) not showing

when you are in wordpress admin area, click on “Options” at the top and in the “general” subtab, you see there are 2 textboxes. one for the site URL and the other for blog URL.

what are the values you have, can you post it here ?

With or without trailing slash / ?

no trailing slash

& if I try adding a trailing slash it won’t accept it
