Probably a stupid question – members interface

    I’ve built several WP websites but I haven’t done a levels-of-access subscription type site yet and I’m trying to decide if WP is right for my new business venture or should I look towards a shopify type platform.

    This plug-in looks like it does exactly what I would need it to do but my 10k miles high view question is this:

    On the membership dashboard screenshots it talks about subscribers being WP members. Will they become aware of this during the subscribing and paying process or does it just appear they are joining my website? What if the username and or email/password they enter is the same as one they already used on WP in the past?

    If I’m understanding correctly, your members will be WordPress Users but to them, it will appear as though they are signing up for a membership on your website. They will have a username and password that is unique to your site. If they have previously registered as a User on your site they can use that existing username and password.
