    Hi there!

We just purchased your Pro Version and so far love how it looks! There are a few things we need a bit of advice on setting up to make sure it displays properly.

    1. The episode modal seems to sit further back in the z-order and also appears to be missing some kind of background. Is this something I should be writing in myself or is it built-in and there’s a conflict somewhere with my theme?

    2. We’d really like to be able to share individual episode links, but the links appear to always bring us back to the main player even though the player is generating unique links for each episode.

I added the link to a page that is running the player in the hopes of getting some help with it.

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your purchase.

    1. It seems some other elements of your site are having higher z-index than player’s modal window. I will make modal window z-index much higher in next release. In meantime, please use following steps,
Step1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
Step2. Click on “Additional CSS” tab in left sidebar.
Step3. Copy and paste following CSS line in the left CSS section and hit “Publish” button

    .pp-modal-window{z-index: 99999;}
    It should resolve the issue.

    2. Let me explain this in detail,
    i) Your actual podcast episodes seems to be hosted on a third party website (like audioboom etc.).
ii) When we share episode links on social media, we surely wants to drive traffic on our own website rather than sending them to some other website.
iii) However, when you display your podcast episodes from “Feed url”, podcast player pro, cannot find any local reference to the individual episodes on your website.
iv) Podcast player on its own do not create individual episodes on your website. It is too much interference on clients website to create content.
    v) Therefore, the best possible solution we could come up with is to bring users from the shared link to the player itself and show shared episode on top of the list. So that all users are coming to your own website and getting the shared episode on top of the list, and probably will see more good things on your site.

This was our reasoning to provide such arrangement. However, we are open to new and better suggestions, so if you think there could be a better method to handle it, please inform and we will seriously consider it in the next update.

Please inform if you need more help on this, or if any other help is required.

    Thanks,

    This is perfect thank you!

Generally, we only share the latest episode anyways so I think this will work just fine.

Thank you for your help and love your work!

    hi @kyledavis ,

I checked your website after the latest update (for testing purpose). Just to inform that there is some styling issue on the player. Please purge (clear) the cache from your caching plugin and it should resolve this styling issue. Inform if you need more help.

    Thanks,
