Pro Version Plugins – Fees

  • From what I have been seeing around the traps there is clearly a problem and big consumer issue with Plugins being advertised as Free and then once installed you find that the Free version is pretty useless/basic and for it to be of any use, you have to upgrade to the Pro version at sometime substantial cost.

    Wordpress people – can I suggest you force Plugin developers to state clearly on their listing that it is a Basic version and the Pro version is available at $xx, and, list the difference between the Basic and Pro versions.

    This will save a lot of time for Consumers and create a more honest and transparent environment where you don’t have consumers abusing developers once they find out they have to pay for the features advertised.
