In the plugins page, whenever I try to active the plugin “Smart Slider 3 Pro”, I get this error:

Warning: require_once(/var/www/wp-content/plugins/nextend-smart-slider3-pro/plugin.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/nextend-smart-slider3-pro/nextend-smart-slider3-pro.php on line 33

    What is going wrong?

    Hi @ntel!

It seems like something went wrong with the update and some of your files are missing. You should connect to your FTP and delete this folder with everything in it:
    wp-content/plugins/nextend-smart-slider3-pro/
Don’t worry, your sliders will stay! Then install Smart Slider again, maybe with the FTP method this time:
    https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1717-wordpress-installation#ftp
because that usually works better, when servers have issues moving files. If you use for example Filezilla, that writes out if a file couldn’t get uploaded and you can try to upload this file again.

If you will have any issues after this, please rather contact us here:
    https://smartslider3.com/contact-us/support/
because this forum’s rules are only allowing the Free versions of plugins to be supported.
