    Hi there,
    Great plugin!

I have successfully used the plugin to find a phrase (the site name) and replace it throughout the site with code that adds an icon (the sites logo) to the phrase.

It’s great, except it also does it for the page title (i.e. in the browser and when that is displayed in the browser (or tab) window title, it just displays the code itself, not the icon.

Can the pro version be used to exclude page titles (when displayed in the browser title tab in the find and replace (but leave the title changed within the browser window? I hope that make sense!

    Here’s an example:

Note the title in the tab – that’s what i Do NOT want to replace.

    Thanks

You would need to come up with rule that doesn’t match the title, but does match the other things you want to match. In this regard the free and pro versions work the same way.

Alternatively, you could try having a rule that modifies just the title temporarily so that it won’t get matched, then run your other rule, then run a final rule that puts the title back to its original form.

Thanks – replacing the title to something different before and then back after worked perfectly!

    Thanks

    Hi there,
Afraid an issue has occurred doing it this way. It is stoping another very important plugin from working.

So, is there a way (maybe with the pro version) to stop it from trying to find and replace things with a certain div/class?

    Thanks
