I deactivated and deleted the free version.
Selected the “Use custom image dialog” and translated the plugin.
Left the rest of the options unchanged.
Tried to upload various png and jpeg’s.

I get 100 % complete, then a delay and then:
    Could not be uploaded

    Hi there,
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems with the pro version of the plugin. Did you by any chance change the image storage directory in Settings > Forum Images > Image Storage? If so, are the permissions on the upload directory set so that WordPress can write to it?

No, I left image directory settings untouched, and yes, i can upload to media library so the “upload” folder is writeable. I’ll send you an email later

I experienced this same issue and was able to solve it by disabling the automatic image resizing in the settings. Not a perfect solution as that was a feature I wanted to use, but at least the plugin is working now.

Hi there! Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the image resizing feature. I definitely want to make sure that the plugin is working for you with all its features, so can you please try the following:
    – Try re-enabling the image resizing functionality after disabling it (if you haven’t already) since there is a small chance that will reset things after a bug in an update a little while ago.

If that doesn’t fix it, please open a support ticket at https://support.potentplugins.com/ so that we can follow up!
