Pro version breaks my multisite installation

  • I just paid for the pro version, uploaded it to the plugins folder, and tried activating it both network-wide and in an individual member site. Both times it doesn’t work at all, and just causes this error message to appear at the top of whatever page I’m viewing:

    Warning: Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in ../wp-content/plugins/wti-like-post/wti_like_post.php on line 302 and defined in ../wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 992

    Is the Pro version untested and buggy, or at best a security risk? In that case, lol, how do I get a refund? It’s not worth it for me if I’m going to end up on the support forums 20 times… It’s the first time I’ve tried using a paid “pro version” of a plugin, so I’m a bit disappointed.

    *Correction: It does appear to work, strictly speaking, when it’s activated on a single site. When I activated it for the entire network, it also gave me an error saying something like

    The plugin generated X characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    I’m not sure of the exact number because I deactivated it pretty quickly, since some of the sites on the network are live client sites and I can’t have downtime right now. I’m going to test it out some more on another network install, and post any extra details here. I’d really appreciate any help because obviously I think the plugin is useful enough to have paid money for it, but now I’m pretty frustrated.
