• Hi All.

I’m using ProPlayer plugin to post a youtube file to my page. So far so good, except assigning a preview image to the file is not working. To place a custom preview image on individual files, the instructions say this:

    [pro-player] image='https://www.myurl.com/myimage.jpg']https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYB-1myt-xM[/pro-player]

But that makes the preview show as an all black screen – no image.

There is also a default option in the settings panel to set a url for a defaul preview image that would default for all Pro Player video’s. When I try this, the custom preview image doesn’t show, nor a black screen, only the YouTube randomly generated image.

If I don’t use any customization at all, the default, randomly generated youtube preview shows – not suitable.

I think the URL to my preview image is correct because I can load it’s url successfully in my browser.

Has anyone else had experience with this?

Alternatively, Is there a way to play .mov files directly in a wordpress page without using a third party solution? (This is secondary – the real problem is above…)

    Thanks!
