PRO Licensing Problems
-
I have three PRO licenses for ARmember and I am writing here as I have not had any response from support. My first request was sent 6 days ago.
My issue is quite simple. I am trying to move one of my PRO licenses to another domain. However, bizarrely, this is only possible if you deactivate the license on the old domain first. If you don’t and the original site fails or is deleted you are stuck, you effectively have to buy a new license as it seems that there is no response from support to address this, regardless of which way you try to communicate with them.
I have tried contacting support via the reset request on the licensing page. I have tried contacting them via Envato Support, their website directly. Nothing works, not even an acknowledgment that the query was raised.
I have pro licenses for the vast majority of my plugins across many websites but for some reason ARmember is the only one with this issue. Normally, with most PRO plugins, you can just log in to your account with a company and reallocate a license. With the ARmember plugin website you don’t have any of these options bar raise a ticket and that is restricted to customers with active support licenses. Just something I think everyone should be aware of before purchasing. This isn’t a support problem, it’s a legacy licensing problem that has not been addressed.
Can anyone please advise on how to sort this? I am not paying for another license when I don’t need to, that’s just wrong. The developer of this product needs to seriously rethink their licensing structure if they want to maintain their customer’s long-term and take this product mainstream.
