    Igor,

Sorry to bother you so quickly but I can’t install the Pro update after purchasing …

Here’s the response after uploading / install ..

    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/content/…deleted… /plugins/ad-inserter/
    Plugin install failed.

Your advice? I’m wary of manually replacing /ad-inserter/ with the contents of your ZIP … unless you tell me to <g>.

Other questions, once I get the Pro installed …

Is there a simple way to totally disable an Ad Block? The block is still saved but non-functioning Maybe the block isn’t working or temporarily not wanted. Maybe Automatic Insertion: None ????

Do you have a suggestion for SERVER side randomization? The caching isn’t an issue for us, but we do want different HTML blocks to appear over time. Also don’t want all the possible ads to show in the client-side source code.

    Thanks,

    Peter Deegan

It seems that Ad Inserter is still installed or not properly uninstalled.
Please uninstall (deactivate and remove) it before installing the new version.

If you still get this error then try to manually delete /wp-content/plugins/ad-inserter/ folder and then normally install the plugin from the file.

To disable automatic insertion set it to None.
To disable manual insertions (if used) uncheck Shortcode, Widget and PHP function.
When all 4 insertions are disabled the code will be saved but not inserted.

Ad Inserter supports both server-side and client-side ad rotation.
On each page load a random ad or code is inserted (or displayed).
