Pro icons not showing in ACF

  • Hi Matt,

    I am using Font Awesome 6 but the pro icon’s are not showing in the backend. Only the free icons are visible. The pro icons have a cross. When i select them they work on the front-end of the website, so it looks like only the preview isn’t working.

    I use Font Awesome 6 and am using a kit that is open for any domain. I have seen some other threads with the same issue but the solutions mentioned there don’t work for me.

    Do you have any idea how i could fix this?

    Hey @peter210,

    It sounds like for whatever reason the kit is not loading in the admin area of your site. The most likely scenario would be that another plugin is also loading FontAwesome in the backend, and its conflicting with the loading from this plugin.

    If you are familiar with your browsers inspector, I’d navigate to a page where you are having this issue, and search through the source code for the page looking for anything loading fontawesome. You should see the kit you’ve defined in this plugin in there, but I suspect you may find something else too. If you do, it may have the theme or plugin name that is loading it in the source so that you can see where it is coming from.

    Alternatively if you are already aware of some plugins on your site that use FontAwesome you can try manually disabling them to test if it resolves the issue.
