I’ve added some jquery that adds a class to the areas and I’m wondering if there’s an easy way that I could change the highlight on hover color for area’s with that class?

Right now it looks like it’s set to pull the data-highlight-color from the image, I guess what I’m looking for here is a way to override that.

Hi there, right now there isn’t a way to do that (all shapes on an image have the same color) but we’ve had a few requests for this. We wanted to avoid adding tons of color pickers and options to each individual area, but we’re considering adding this as a feature you can access via javascript as you describe. There are a few issues we’d need to work through, so this is probably still a month or two from being implemented.

Right now we’ve seen some users just alter the source image (ie. having blue states and red states on a USA map – where the colors are part of the main image, and the highlighting is just white with low opacity)

    Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, just wondering what’s the status on having multiple colors for each hotspot? Thanks!

Still no ETA on this, but it’s next on our feature list!

Hi, are there any news or thoughts on this feature? I really need it.

We’re working on the best way to implement this. Some users want to select a different color for every area, some want it tied into a CSS class, others want to create groups of colors to select from for each area. We’re still settling on the best way to approach this that works in a variety of cases.
