Private Products in Cross-sell and Upsell

  • Hi, I have a problem with Private Products.
    I cannot add Private Products as Cross-sell/Upsell Products.
    When I try to search them from the Product Admin Page I cannot find them…It seems like they doesn’t exist.
    In My Shop I have a lot of Private Products (visible by Registered Users) and I need to be able to add Cross-sell and Upsell Products for them.
    How can I solve this problem?

    Private is private to **you**, so these products cannot be upsold or crosssold. Private is not supposed to be used to offer content to users.

    I know the original scope but I need to use it for registered user and now I need to be able to find them in Cross-Sell Search.

    In which case customisation will be required, since this is not how private products are intended to function.

    Have you considered using a membership plugin or similar to restrict access to products instead?

    Yes I’m using a Membership Plugin (Ultimate Member) but it doesn’t hide Products from the Category Pages…It only doesn’t allow a Specific Group to view a Product Page but this is not what I need.

    Does that plugin have a WooCommerce integration available?
