• Hello,

I am setting some custom posts to Visibility: private, so that they are not included in loops pf those custom post types.

However, when I log in to the back end of my site onto posts which use those custom posts as content, the privacy switches off the CPT and it becomes public again, meaning it shows up in Loops where i didn’t want it to, hence why I set it to private.

What would make a private post move back to not being private, so i can prevent this happening?

    Thanks
    Lucy

    The above codex states:

You will only see the private content when you are logged into your WordPress blog.

    Hello Tara,

Thanks for your reply – yes I understand what you are saying, my confusion is that posts that I set to private and you get the word – Private listed on the post in the back end, were flicking back to not saying – Private in my back end when I hadn’t re-saved them as public… – have you ever seen this before?

    Thanks
    Lucy
