• Hi there guys.

This is a basic question, but when writing and creating a post, if I select the option on the right hand side of the post to “keep the post private” what does that do? Does that mean only people signed up to my blog to add comments can see that post? Or does that mean that only I can see that post?

Also, is there a search feature on this forum where I can find out if my question has been asked before? I don’t want to repeat a question if you good people have already answered it before a couple of times.

    Thanks in advance.

    Have a great day.

  • Search box at left in center of pages.
Clicking on “Docs” at top right menu gives a searchable function for the entire Codex.

    For example from codex:

    Save as Private
Private posts are completed posts that are never intended for public consumption. Only you (and anyone with direct MySQL database access) will be able to read the post.
