    Is it possible to use this plugin to play a private podcast feed? Using a browser and basic authentication I can access this feed by using

    https://user:[email protected]/feed

    but when I try adding the same URL to the plugin I get the following error:

    RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: A valid URL was not provided.

    Thanks for trying Podcast player.

    I have not tested podcast player for any private podcast link. It might be possible that the link (or similar link) you mentioned above have some URL redirection or require some additional user action. Therefore, podcast player might not be able to work.

    However, I cannot say for sure unless I test it on a real private podcast link. Can you inform how did you create a private podcast? Is there any service or method to create a test private podcast?
