Private pages not available to admins?

If you would like to access private pages of other users you will need to go to Users -> All Users -> Hover over a user and you will see the Private Page Link.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I tried your solution (clicking on the created permalink to view the page) – but when I’m logged in as my admin account, clicking on the permalink redirects me to my created home page.

When you go to Users -> All Users -> Hover over an user -> Click on the Private Page link you should be redirected in backend to a page with the following url:

https://www.domain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1001&action=edit -> for example.

Here you can manage the Private Page of:

https://www.domain.com/private-page/test-user/ -> for example.

Do you see anything like this?

Yes, I see the edit page. So for example,

https://domain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=306&action=edit

which allows me to manage the Private Page of:

https://domain.com/private-page/test-user/

However, when I try to ‘preview changes’, which goes to this link:

https://domain.com/private-page/test-user/?preview=true

I get redirected to this link instead

https://domain.com/

Which makes it difficult to see the results of my edits.

It should let you preview the Private Page of the test user. Did you tried to deactivate all other plugins and use a default WordPress theme? Maybe there is a theme/plugin conflict.
