Private page… need help

I am very new to this. I am trying to set up a blog/podcast for my pre-teen daughter. As you can image, I do not want most of her information out there for the public. I have made it so that her friends have to email her and give her a user name and password so she can add them on the site to post. (I realize anyone can read it and I have strict rules about not using real names, etc.) The problem that I have is that she wants to post videos. Can I create a new page wtih the videos and make it so that only logged in users can access that page? Please let me know if this is possible! I also have a web site and do a little front page web design (My site is hosted on a windows server and my daughter’s is hosted on Linux.) thanks for any help or advice you can give!
