is it possible to create private forums?

i mean forums that can only be viewed by users with a specific role

i have read the instructions and tried to publish a private forum

my problem is that I have a profile created, called “student”, different from those that come by default [subscriber, admin, editor, customer, etc.], and wpforo does not give me the option to make that role access the forum exclusively

what can i do to link the custom user role to a specific forum?
