Private Files only for students

    Hi,

    How is it possible to have private files for the students in a specific course? I have Tutor LMS Pro but I cannot find a way to do this.

    If I upload an attachment in the lesson, the URL of the attachment is public, so everyone can access it. I have tried also with the “Course Attachments” extension and it is the exact same behaviour.

    At this moment, I’m totally stuck with this, since I want to provide to the students of my course, some PDFs to download or to view in an embedded viewer, but I cannot do it without uploading the PDF file in a way that it is open to everyone with the link.

    You can try 3rd party plugin to embed PDF file to lessons.

    Thank you for the reply @largbasket but unfortunately that doesn’t solve the real problem, that anyone with the link of the PDF file can access it.

    What I need is a way to restrict the access to certain files to the users that bought the course.

    If this is not achievable with Tutor LMS Pro, I would appreciate if you point me to a possible workaround, I will investigate and develop it.

    There are not LMS plugin that provide the restriction option of the course content you can search on the the wordpress repository if you get the plugin which have the capability to restrict the content.

    Ok, thanks for the reply. It’s a pity, I’m loving my overall experience with Tutor LMS Pro, and I understand this is more related to how WordPress work than the plugin itself. I hope I can solve the issue in some way or another.
