    Hi,

Currently we don’t have any feedback from the NGG plugin authors. You should open a support request on their forum too so that they give attention to that problem. This has happened to several other Customer Area users but they seem to ignore the issue.

    Hi Vincent,

I opened a support request and got the answer as shown below.
It seems to be a long standing issue but still without result. I believe this way we keep running in circles.

@superdiver – I believe you submitted a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) and I responded there if that is the case; but, if not, I can say we will be looking into this but do not currently have a time-line on when our developers will be able to review the issues with the Custom Area plugin.
I would suggest reminding “Vincent Mimoun-Prat” to review this and other issues with his plugin as well, as there have been recent updates to his plugin and he may be working on a solution as well.

    Hi,

Yes, someone else also had reported this incompatibility with NGG.

I had worked with Alex Rabe (the original author of NGG) and contributed some features to NGG. Since Photocrati took over the plugin, they added a huge amount of code (they now base their plugin on a PHP framework which itself has a lot of extra stuff) and I personally can’t find my way in there. Unless they are willing to get in touch with me to find a way to fix that incompatibility, I cannot do more than just advise to pick another gallery plugin or another Customer Area plugin

    Sorry.
