• Hi Steven,

I can’t seem to add private events to the calendar using WordPress’ built in visibility options. The Event post doesn’t appear on the calendar or the calendar widget. The Event post itself does appear to be working correctly if you go directly to the permalink.

I notice that you had this problem in a previous version of the plugin and mentioned a fix for version 2.1 on your own forum here.
has the same problem occurred again, or am I making a mistake in the way I am setting things up?

FYI I have checked the permissions area in the settings of the plugin and am signed in as an administrator with the ability to view private events.

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

I’ll need to double check the commit logs, because after a quick glance the code does seem to indicate that the calendar won’t respect private events.

    Hi Steven,

Any news on an update to this? I had really hoped to be able to use your plugin for a website I’m currently working on but it requires private posts. I’d also like to use the Posterboard add-on if possible.

    Many Thanks,
    Neil

Sorry Steven, I see that this is working throughout the main plugin since you updated it. It’s only the Posterboard Add-on which seem to retain the issue. Perhaps the same solution you used on the main plugin could be applied here?

    Many Thanks,

Yup, this will be included in the next update (of Event Organiser Posterboard)
