Great plugin, exactly what I need. However, I cannot seem to display events marked as “private”. Is there a specific shortcode for this or is it something limited to the pro version? I can find no mention in the documentation.

    Hi Paul!

It’s not currently an option in either free or pro, as it respects the default The Events Calendar setting to hide private events from any listings. It may be something that’s added to the pro version in future.

Were you thinking to add them to a password-protected page to keep them private?

    Cheers!

It makes sense that your plugin honours the privacy in the events plugin, I just had a unique scenario where I needed to display these private events on a different page (I found a workaround). Perhaps I will just make a feature request to override the inherited permissions in via shortcode in your plugin? Thanks for all.
