    Hello,
    we have to adapt our data protection declaration.
    Our website uses the plugin “Mailchimp for WooCommerce”.
    Could you please tell me if and how the plugin processes, uses or stores any
    personal user/visiter data?
    And does the plugin generate any cookies?
    I’d be very grateful for your help.

    @frank881 Thanks for reaching out. This is fairly simple.

    The plugin uses a cookie for the mailchimp campaign ID if coming through a campaign click.

    The plugin uses a cookie for the current user’s email address.

    The plugin uses a landing site cookie which is simply the “first page they’ve seen on your site”.

    The plugin will also store the “cart data” for each email in your database so that if they come back through a Mailchimp email, we’re able to re-populate their cart for them.
