My privacy policy page is in the source code if I select a privacy policy page from the dropdown menu. When I’m checking this and every other page for duplicate content, there are going to be several results. How can I disable the privacy policy page content from being added into the source code? I chose not to select a privacy policy page in the dropdown, and that removed the content from being added into the source code, but I get an alert telling me that I need to select a page. Please advise.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @mrtechnique,

This is going to change in 1.5.0

I am currently working on that. This re-consent notification will change and will not include the content anymore and it will be less intrusive. It will include a link to the new privacy policy.

Hold on for a little while as I’m working on this and should be releasing it early next week.

I’m looking forward to it. For now, I’m going to disable the plugin. So, in future versions, your plugin won’t be adding html code to the top of the website. I’m concerned about it for SEO purposes.

I see you just updated the plugin to 1.4.5. Will you be releasing 1.5.0 this week?

That as a minor CSS release that was waiting. It was just a matter of pressing a couple buttons and the fix was launched.

I am going to release a fix for you today. in 1.4.6

I will leave the other things to 2.0 that I’m planning for the end of this week.

I actually just pushed 1.4.6 that will only add this markup if the user is logged in and if the privacy policy consent is missing.

I think that fixed the issue. My privacy policy page content isn’t showing in the source code now. Thank you!
