    hi all,

    in May in Germany starts an new data protection regulation (DSGVO), so I need to ask the developer for each Plugin, if the Plugin has a privacy policy or at least the information on whether the plugin processes and forwards personal data.
    wordpress does not allow the request to be sent multiple times. the error message appears, I would have already asked this question. But I have to ask this question for every plugin i use. What should I do?

    Rather that asking each plugin author (you and many others!), let’s wait for a statement from the core team.

    Also, the reason the forum isn’t allowing you to put in the same thing is because you’re not allowed to make duplicate posts here. Make each post different, copy/pasta isn’t allowed on these forums.

    okay … not a nice solution to write the mails differently, my question is always the same … It’s exhausting enough to even write so many …. That it is not in WordPress, I have noticed, but for legal information that is really not really okay … thanks for the reference with the DSGVO blog, but honestly, I get an answer faster, if I simply write the authors …

    The new data protection regulation is for all European countries and only European countries.. So instead of ‘spamming’ everyone, just wait for a general solution.

    @staartmees It’s valid for any products or websites that have EU users, so… it applies to any product used by EU citizens.
